FP Studio + Kitchen

Founded in 2015 at the site of a former stationary store in the heart of Needham, French Press Bakery & Cafe opened at 74 Chapel Streetand has now expanded. Initially offered the entire Chapel Street side storefront, we subdivided the space to enable our startup to grow and thrive.

As our artisan pastries and desserts have always been made from scratch, we worked around the clock to produce each day’s delights because of our small space. Through all the windows, you could see our bakers morning, day, and night working away to meet the demand and provide the freshest local patisserie, viennoiserie, and boulangerie you could find.

In 2021, as our business grew significantly and the subdivided space at 78 Chapel Street became available, we evolved and created FP Studio + Kitchen. A state-of-the-art commissary and private food counter. The goal being to produce, educate, and gather.

Today, our bakers still work through the night and early morning hours producing that day’s product. Nonetheless, we have more capacity to meet the needs of our retail and wholesale operations. If you are up late or early, you can still peek through the windows to see how it’s done.

Our studio space will open soon to feature private events and, eventually evolve to a full slate of activities, from guest chef dinners to demonstration classes.
